Terms and conditions

Last updated: 30 October 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to the website of CARSTRIKE trading as CarStrike (ABN 25 599 377 209 ) (carstrike.com.au). By using this website, or by buying, renting or selling a vehicle through it, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

2. Vehicle information

We make every effort to describe our vehicles accurately, but errors can occur. Descriptions, specifications, features, photos and prices are a guide only and may change without notice; please confirm anything important with us before you buy. Vehicles are subject to prior sale.

We are a licensed motor dealer (licence 360526), and vehicles are sold in line with the Motor Dealers and Chattel Auctioneers Act 2014 (Qld).

3. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Statutory warranty: a used vehicle may come with a statutory warranty depending on its age and odometer reading, as set out in Queensland law.

4. Enquiries, offers and estimates

An enquiry, offer, test-drive request, rental request or trade-in estimate sent through this website is not a binding contract. A sale or rental is only agreed when we both sign the written contract or rental agreement. A trade-in estimate is based on the information and photos you give us and is subject to an inspection of the vehicle.

Rentals are subject to availability and to our rental agreement, which sets out the bond, insurance excess, fees and where the vehicle may be driven.

Finance information on this website is general information only and is not credit advice. Any finance is subject to the lender's approval, terms and conditions.

5. Articles and comments

Articles are general information and may not suit your circumstances. Comments are moderated before they appear; we may decline or remove any comment. Some articles have a “Reader questions” section: those questions and answers are generated by AI from the article, labelled as such, and reviewed by our team; they are general information, not advice. Please be respectful, and don't post personal information.

6. AI assistant

K.I.T.T., the AI assistant on this website, gives general information to help you. It can make mistakes, and nothing it says is a binding offer, a price guarantee or professional advice. Please confirm prices, availability and anything important with our team.

7. Network listings

Some vehicles on this website are listed by other dealers in the CarStrike network. Those dealers are responsible for their own listings, and you buy a network vehicle from the dealer that lists it.

8. Links to other websites

This website may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law — and without excluding any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law — CarStrike is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of this website.

10. Website platform

This website runs on the YardStrike platform provided by CARSTRIKE. The YardStrike terms cover the platform itself; these terms cover your dealings with CarStrike.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
